ABOUT SATHI NEPAL

SATHI Nepal locally registered nonprofit making non-government organization established in 2002. Since its establishment SATHI Nepal has been working directly for the under privileged children with the aim to break the cycle of poverty in western part of Nepal now existing Gandaki Province through helping children to access their rights to education, health care and a reassuring family environment. Our target population includes impoverished, vulnerable children and families in rural and hilly villages under the Gandaki Province of Nepal.

Our Programs

SATHI's programs have been increasing access to school education and health care for
children who are socially and economically underprivileged.

Self-Learning Materials and
Hygiene Products Distribution

To continue learning of children from home with safe environment SATHI in partnership with CAIRN UK distributed self-learning materials and hygiene products to 850 school children from 3 districts.

Rural Education Program

SATHI teamed up the CAIRN Trust UK to expand our work to rural areas where we continue to successfully promote the rights of children, increase literary rates through integration into formal education and reduce urban migration.

Educational Materials Support – Gorkha

SATHI NEPAL’s Educational Material Support Program (EMS) was originally launched in 2005 and currently supports 3,000 students including children with disabilities to attend school in Pokhara and remote earthquake affected communities.
